Summary[]
Existing for nearly two thousand years, the Galactic Republic was a democratic government that governed thousands of planets throughout the galaxy. By the time of the events of Jedi Fallen Order, the Republic was transformed into the oppressive Galactic Empire following the events of the Clone Wars and Order 66.
While it is never directly encountered, remnants of its existence can be seen throughout the game. Junked or crashed Republic Venator Class Star Destroyers are seen in several locations, along with the destroyed remains of Republic military vehicles and the corpses of Republic Clone Troopers.
